December 18, 2024 - USA Field Hockey and Team IP are proud to announce a multi-year partnership in which Team IP will serve as presenting sponsor.
This includes the 2025 and 2026 Regional Club Championships (RCCs), held at 10 locations around the country, and National Club Championship (NCC), held in Virginia Beach, Va.
The Regional Club Championships bring together the best youth field hockey clubs from across the nation, competing through ten qualifiers hosted throughout the United States. From there, teams get the opportunity to qualify for the 2025 National Club Championship to be held in Virginia Beach, Va. The NCC serves as a premier club stage for girls teams in the U-14, U-16 and U-19 age groups to compete for national recognition while fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship.
This partnership builds upon Team IP’s commitment to enhancing the experience of athletes, fans and sponsors through innovative and high-quality merchandising. As part of this deal, Team IP will collaborate with Capelli Sport, USA Field Hockey’s national team kit partner and sponsor, integrating their premium products into the event’s exclusive merchandise offerings.
On the calendar, the RCC and NCC come after the nation’s largest field hockey event, the Sunshine Showcase at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney WorldÒ Resort in Kissimmee, Fla, where Team IP is also the presenting sponsor. With Team IP’s proven expertise in event merchandising and logistics, this partnership will further elevate the prestige of USA Field Hockey’s National Events.
“We look forward to the next two years continuing to grow the sport and contribute to the greatness of USA Field Hockey,” said Randy Sparks, Team IP CEO. “Our shared vision for creating exceptional experiences will ensure that these tournaments leave lasting impressions on players, coaches, and fans. We’re also excited to bring awareness to the once-in-a-generation opportunity of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, where USA Field Hockey will be hosting both men and women from around the world.”
“After working with Team IP over the past three years as a presenting sponsor and souvenir apparel merchandiser at USA Field Hockey’s youth events, we couldn’t be more excited to see this prolific, growing company step into the role of the RCC and NCC presenting sponsor,” said Ginger Wheeler, USA Field Hockey’s Commercial Partnership and Marketing Manager. “Team IP has demonstrated professionalism, follow-through and integrity every step of the way. We are excited for Team IP’s new offerings in 2025 and the awareness they are bringing to our sport through their extensive network throughout the sports world. I know the athletes attending these events are going to cherish their Team IP/Capelli Sport/USA Field Hockey apparel and feel pride and delight when they can don their RCC and NCC apparel back home after an epic experience at USA Field Hockey’s events.”
